March2, 2008 Dear Friend, Lavender and Green Alliance is busy preparing for our 10th annual "Oiche Aerach" (Gay Night) to be held this LGBT Pride month in June, 2004. It promises to be a great event as we kick off LGBT Pride month in style! The highlight of Lavender & Green's annual gathering has always been the honoring voices of hope in our community (click here for prior year award recipients). We are currently considering who to honor for our "Roger Casement & Eva Gore Booth Leadership Award". We welcome your suggestions!!! The cost is $30 if paid by May 28th and $40 at the door. Children under 18 are admitted at half price and children under 7 are admitted free. There is a sliding scale, so those who can’t afford the price can call (718)721-2780 and talk to Brendan or Tom to determine affordability. The price includes dinner (from salad to desert), soda, coffee, and tea. Bring a date. Bring a friend. Bring the family!! Also, this year we are enlisting your help as a table chair for the event. If we can get 20 people to sell 10 tickets, we will have a guaranteed 200 people for the dinner. This would be our grandest dinner yet! As usual, we will need help selling ads, tickets, getting raffles, and help decorating.
